However, the facilities, management and supervision, and office support/customer service <br />elements of basic service are provided at the level of a 16 member police department due to the need <br />to support the four Spring Park supplemental officers and the two Long Lake supplemental officers. <br />Because these service elements, as they relate to the supplemental officers, are provided as part of <br />basic services, the costs are allocated according to the basic service cost allocation formula.
