LMCD/List of Principles Adopted 3/28/91 <br />ISSUE <br />1. Present to Council updated information regarding progress on <br />the LtlCD Comprehensive Plan. <br />2. Present for Council discussion possible adoption of position <br />paper to be transmitted to the other cities related to surface <br />use aspect of LMCD's Comprehensive Plan. <br />INTRODUCTION - Attachment B was an attempt by Northwest <br />Sonsul.tants , the consultant planners for the City of Wayzatar to <br />highlight/delete the issues of principal concern as outlined to <br />the Council last time. (An excerpt of that is presented and if <br />you would desire the balance of it, please contact the City Clerk <br />and she will be happy to provide that for you.) This was <br />prepared in advance and sent to the original eight cities who had <br />signed the resolution. As was indicated last time the cities met <br />on March 27th to discuss the approach and what they should do <br />from here. Attachment D represents the agenda from the that <br />meeting. <br />DISUCSSION - <br />Issue #1 - Updated Information and Process - At the March 27th 7 <br />ot the'~5 cities were represented! In addition Mound was present <br />to indicate their concern as to the other six cities not being <br />included in this meeting. It was indicated that this was not an <br />attempt to exclude them, but the original 8 felt that they needed <br />to discuss their direction before they were able to present this <br />to the other 6 cities. it would be the intent of the next <br />meeting that all 14 cities would be invited and that all 14 could <br />then discuss if this was an acceptable approach on those 4 items <br />together with determining what other issues the cities had before <br />moving forward. <br />Additionally raised at that meeting was the issue that Mayor <br />Johnson had raised in Attachment A related to the status of the <br />"plan” and the ease and process for amending it.
