Standing Committees <br />a.Service - Standing committees may be appointed at each annual <br />meeting and serve in a permanent status during the following <br />year. <br />b. Quorum - Each standing committee must have a quorum of three <br />(3) members to transact business. <br />c. Names and Duties - <br />1. Rules Committee - Administrative matters, work assign­ <br />ments for officers and committees of the Commission. <br />2. Planning Committee - Long range planning and capital <br />improvements. <br />3. Regulations Committee - Considerations of permanent <br />changes in laws, ordinances and regulations; zoning <br />variations and changes; land surveys and legal descrip <br />tions; plats and subdivisions. <br />3. Special Committees <br />a.Special committees for specific purposes may be appointed by <br />the Commission or the Chair of the Commission subject to the <br />appointment procedures of these Rules to serve for less than a <br />period of one (1) year or until a project is completed. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of January, 1990 by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
