WACOMlA CITY CODE <br />RELATING TO COMPOSITION OF THE PLAf^NING COMMISSICN <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WACCNIA, MINNESOTA, 00 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 232, Subd. 2, of the Waconia City Code is ?-, eby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Subd. 2 Composition. Such Planning Commission shall consist of <br />five members. They shall be appointed by the Mayor and <br />confirmed by the Council. Of the members of the <br />Commission first appointed, two shall be appointed for <br />the term of one year, two for the term of two years and <br />one for the term of three years. Their successors shall <br />be appointed for a term of vear~ST> Both original <br />and successive appointees shall lofd th^r offices until <br />their successors are appointed and qualified; provided, <br />however, that no person shall serve more than two <br />consecutive terms on the Planning Commission, regardless <br />of the length of such consecutive terms. Vacancies <br />during the term shall be filled by the Mayor and <br />confirmed by the Council for the unexp'lred portion of <br />the term. Every appointed member shall, before entering <br />upon the discharge of his duties, take an oath that he <br />will faithfully discharge the duties of his office. All <br />members shall serve without compensation. One of the <br />members of the Planning Commission may be appointed from <br />among the members of the City Council, exclusive of the <br />Mayor. <br />SECTION 2.
