Draft Letters to LMCD/Member Cities <br />ISSUE - <br />1. Update Council on LMCD’s Comprehensive Plan progress. <br />2. Present to Council for adoption draft letters to LMCD and <br />member cities. <br />3. Up date Council regarding the City Attorney's opinion work. <br />IMTRODDCTIOM - At the Council's February 11, 1991 Council meeting <br />they directed that a memo be transmitted to LMCD regarding the <br />direction they would like to see LMCD take regarding revision of <br />its Comprehensive Management Plan. <br />DISCUSSION • <br />1, LMCD Comprehensive Plan - The LMCD has not yet transmitted <br />their review program for the Comprehensive Manangment Plan over <br />the next 90 days. The result of a meeting held on Wednesday, <br />February 6, 1991, between Gene Strommen of the LMCD and staff Pat <br />Pahl and Ann Hurlbert of the Metropolitan Council has not been <br />transmitted to the 14 cities. Ann will apparently serve as the <br />Council's liaison to assist in work between the LMCD and the <br />cities. <br />2. Draft Letter - These are revisions from Ed Callahan to the <br />(Drafts were presentedletter presented at the 2/11/01 meeting, <br />to the "group of 8* at their 2/22 meeting.) <br />3. Attorney's Opinion - Mr. Barrett will be presenting that at- -"fr - -the 3/11/91 meeting <br />As noted in Attachment C a meeting of the 8 cities is to be held <br />2/22. <br />ALTBRHATIVBS - <br />1.
