Determine if Council wants to develop an outline of roles and <br />responsibilities for the Park Commission. <br />ZETSODUCTZON - Attachment A was presented to the Council at the <br />January 1991 and interviews for new applicants was <br />established for February 11th. Based on Council desires, Susan <br />Wilson also requested to be in attendance. <br />DISCUSSION -Selection - As noted in Attachment A there are four terms which <br />are available for appointment with three of the incumbents having <br />Indicated an interest in continuing. <br />Roles and Responsibilities of Park Commission - Attachment D <br />represent8*"7‘«r7?^^*'prepared by John Gerhardson that is to be <br />utilised as a guide fbr Park Commissioners. As noted, this <br />charge brings together information contained in the City <br />Ordinances, its Comprehensive Plan together with the historic <br />cooperation of the Commission. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Table. <br />IRCONMENOATIOM - It is recommended the Council after interviewing <br />either seleci' or table for further discussion until February <br />28th In addition it is requested that the Council give <br />direc);:ion as to the draft layout of Roles and Responsibilities <br />for the Park Oommission. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by that the Coucil <br />appoint___, $___*»d to the Park Commission for a three <br />vaar term!
