a <br />RBSOLOTIOH RBLATING TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />INFORMATION SYSTEM (LOGIS): APPROVING <br />AN AMENDMENT TO TOE JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Orono as follows: <br />Section 1. Background: Findings. <br />1.01. The City is a regular me.nber in good standing of <br />Local Government Information Systems (LOGIS). The City is a <br />party to the joint and cooperative agreement (Agreement) under <br />which LOGIS was formed and operates. The Agreement has been <br />entered into by the City and the other members pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.59{Act). <br />1.02. The Board of Directors of LOGIS have recommended <br />that certain changes to the Agreement be made. Those changes are <br />embodied in the proposed amendment to the Agreement (Amendment). <br />A form of the proposed -imendment has been reviewed by this <br />Council. The form of the proposed Amendment is on file with the <br />City Clerk. <br />1.03. Under the Act the Amendment must be approved by <br />■'ular members of LOGIS to be effective.all <br />1.04. It is found and determined that it is necessary <br />and desireable for the orderly and efficient operation of LOGIS <br />and the City that the Amendment be adopted. <br />Sec. 2. Approvals: Authorization. <br />2.01. The form of the Amendment is approved. <br />2.02. The Mayor and the City Administrator are <br />authorized and directed to execute and deliver the Amendment on <br />behalf of the City. The Clerk authorized and directed to <br />transmit a certified copy of this .Resolution and the executed <br />Amendment to the Ex.. *tive Director of LOGIS. <br />Adopted »■ the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota, at a rev ar meeting held February 25, 1991. <br />Barbara A.
