Final selection <br />Transition <br />In the general process there needs to be consideration of level <br />of participation by the following: <br />Council <br />Contract Cities <br />Staff <br />Executive search firnj, if any <br />It is anticipated that an executive search firm would at most <br />cost between $15,000 and $18,000. The cost would be less <br />depending on areas in which used, level of active recruitment and <br />extent of geographical search. This is not an amount that has <br />been budgeted for currently but could be utilized from the city's <br />fund balance. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Issue 12. General Process - <br />1. Direct that process presented be used. <br />2. Amend and adopt. <br />3. Table for further discussion. <br />4. Direct further research. <br />Issue #3 - Level of participation <br />1. Indicate participation level. <br />2. Request that that be done by staff/consultant, if any <br />in further process development <br />3. Table for further discussion. <br />Issue #4 - Staffing for process <br />1. Do entirely in house. <br />2. Employ an executive search firm. <br />3.
