Current Postion Description - This will represent a <br />description of the job as it currently exists. <br />Applicant Characteristics - The executive search firm <br />would identify characteristics for applicants together <br />with screening criteria for both initial and final <br />screening. <br />Compensation - Compensation for the position for 1991 is <br />as outlined in Attachment B. <br />Areas For Organizational Development - The consultant <br />will spend time with various constituencies including <br />supervisors^ patrol officers^ contract cities# Orono <br />staff members and Council in developing review of the <br />current position description together with identifying <br />areas for future organizational development and customer <br />service. <br />“ Announcement - It will be the <br />responsibility of the firm to place ads in at least the <br />following publications: (If deadlines are not a <br />problem) <br />League ot Minnesota Cities Magazine/or Legilative <br />Bulletin <br />Minnesota Police Magazine <br />Minneapolis Star/Tribune <br />Active Recruitment - It is additionally to be the <br />responsibility to actively recruit qualified candidates <br />in the Metropolitan area and State of Minnesota together <br />with other qualified applicants the firm is aware of <br />within a reasonable distance within 200 miles of the <br />Twin cities that may lie in other states. <br />APPLICANT SCREENING <br />Initial Criteria - It is to be the responsibility of the <br />executive search firm# based on applicant criteria# to <br />narrow the field to an initial 10 to 15.
