% <br />fv;'' <br />2191.2 •b <br />PARK COMMISSION RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Th« Park Commission meets monthly <br />Th« Park Commission is charged with considering the existing and <br />continuing needs of the City of Orono parks and recreation areas <br />and facilities of all kinds including, but not limited to. Lake <br />Minnetonka and its shoreline. This includes both active and <br />passive park facilities. <br />The Park Commission shall use the Comprehensive Management ?lan <br />as a guide and be an advisory body to the City Council, when <br />plana reflect changes in the Comprehensive Plan they shall <br />conduct appropriate liasion with the Planning Commission. <br />The Park Commission shall upon request indicate whether they <br />recommend dedication of land or cash in lieu of land for new <br />subdivision. They shall also recommend any easements or <br />requested dedication for the City's Bike/Hike Trail.
