Advisory Board Selection Process Guidelines <br />Dated 7/23/90 <br />ISSUE - Appointment of Park Commission members. <br />INTRODUCTION - The terms of four Park Commission members expired <br />the end of 1990. As noted in Attachments B, C and D, Richard <br />Flint, Susan Wilson and James Gilbert have indicated their desire <br />to be re-appointed to the Park Commission for another three year <br />term. Lee Erger indicated previously his desire to terminate his <br />service on the Park Commission at the end of 1990. The appointee <br />to fill Mr. Ergers position will expire on 12/31/92. <br />RECOMMENDATION - After accepting the information presented <br />together with giving any direction in regard to the process, it <br />is recommended that the Council table further consideration of <br />this matter until the February 11, 1991 meeting at which time <br />Council will interview interested applicants as part of that <br />agenda and if so desired make the appointment either later that <br />evening or at the February 25, 1991 meeting. (Please let staff <br />know if you desire to re-interview the current members who are <br />re-applying.) <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by that Council <br />accepts the information and dTrects tabling the matter until <br />February 11, 1991 when Council will interview applicants <br />interested in the Park Commission appointments.
