Barr Engineering’s finai payment of <br />approximately $1,200 will be made when the Environment section is <br />approved by the Metropolitan Council. The amount to Le paid to <br />Arndorfer and Associates is $4,132.16. Arndorfer's contract <br />calls for 250 copies of the completed Plan. 40 of which has been <br />provided to the Board and Metropolitan Council advance i *vi»w as <br />of 12/4/90, the balance to be provided after the Metropolitan <br />Council comments are received, in the event any chancres are <br />required. <br />Rascop moved, Reese seconded, to appro*'e disbursements of <br />$8,132.16 from the Arndorfer contract retainage, $4,000 to Ban* <br />Engineering and $4,132.26 to Arndorfer and Associates. the <br />disbursement to Barr Engineering subject to receipt, of the <br />computerized map discs and any other workin»2: p.aper resources. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />2) Consultant Contract - Shore land Rules <br />The Board received an independent contractor agreement <br />between the District and Steven J. Prestin. The .agreement <br />details the contract conditions as an independent consultant to <br />the District's Shoreland Rules adoption program. <br />The Executive Director introduced Prestin to the members. <br />Prestin responded with a brief resume of his work on the NN DNR <br />shoreland rules. <br />The Executive Director explained that it is not knovm it <br />fourteen District cities will approve the agreement between <br />MN DNR and the District. There may be adju.stments necessary <br />all <br />the <br />in <br />it lesser number of citiesthe Agreement with Prestin <br />participate. <br />Foster moved. Rascop seconded, to approve tho 1 ml<-fxmJcnt. <br />Contractor Agreement between Steven J. Prestin and the LMCD in <br />principle. authorizing the Executive Director and <jffj;ers to <br />execute the agreement, noting the remuneration will be provided <br />by MN DNR funding. Motion carried unanimously. <br />3) Shoreland Ruli • Meeting. <br />Cochran announced a Shoreland Rules adoption <br />process orientation meeting will be held with the cities on <br />Wednesday, December 12. Wayzata City Council Chambers. from 5 <br />p.m. to 7 p.m. MN DNR officials will make the basic <br />presentation. Ali Board members were encouraged to attend. <br />Cochran also reported a meeting of the cities who ab.lected <br />to the Management Plan has been called for the morning of <br />December 6, Wayzata Council Chambers. <br />6.
