PAY DAY <br />The regular pay day for all City employees shall be <br />alternate Wednesdays. <br />When a regular pay day falls on an official holiday, <br />employees shall receive their checks the preceding day. <br />317. REIMBURSEMEHT « SCHOOL, CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS <br />1. The City shall reimburse employees for costs incurred for <br />conferences, classes and seminars that the City requires an <br />employee to attend as follows: <br />a. Mileage to and from destination and/or transportation <br />b. Tuition or fees for conferences and seminars <br />c. Required lunch or dinner out of the Metro area as <br />provided in a separate City policy <br />d. Textbooks <br />e. Lodging if necessitated by location <br />2. The City shall not pay any wages to the employee should the <br />class, seminar or meeting occur outside the established office <br />hours unles': so required by law for non-exempt employees. <br />3. If the City does not require the employee to attend, the <br />employee shall be reimbursed only for those items approved in <br />advance by the department head. <br />318. SBVBRAHCB <br />Employees who resign or retire in good standing with proper <br />notification shall be eligible for the following benefits upon <br />termination : <br />a. Payment of accured vacation at the rate of pay at which <br />the employee terminates, not to exceed 240 hours in <br />total. <br />b. A full-time regular employee who has been so employed for <br />a minimum of three years shall receive 1/3 of the <br />employee's unused sick leave balance, at the rate of pay <br />at which the employee terminates, not to exceed 320 hours <br />total. <br />I-
