Catastrophic Leave tlemo Dated 2/18/86 <br />ISSUE - Determine if Council desires to incorporate <br />updated Administrative and Personnel Policy in the following <br />areas: <br />1. Vacation. <br />A. Maximum amount of carryover from year to year <br />(Adopted 1/14/91) <br />B. Vacation schedule for general employees. <br />(Adopted 1/14/91) <br />2. Prohibited Practices. Adopted 8/8/88. <br />3, Catastrophic Leave Policy. Adopted 3/10/86 <br />4.Incorporation of References to: <br />a. ) Compensation plan adopted 3/28/88 <br />b. ) Flexible Benefits Plan Adopted 11/26/90 <br />INTRODUCTION - The current personnel rules were adopted in 1985 <br />and since 'that time have been formally amended without update of <br />the document. <br />DISCUSSION - Adoption of the updated version clerifies status of <br />these changes made subsequent to the original document. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Action <br />1. Take no action <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the updated document be <br />adopted by the proposed attached resolution. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that the Council <br />adopt Resolution # as the adopting agreement for Attachment B <br />being the update to the City's Administrative and Personnel <br />Rules.
