Job descriptions have been presented to the HR Committee. <br />3.Recruitment: <br />The selection process for the positions will involve advertising the position, application screening, <br />an interview panel, and reference checks. Upon completion of the process, a candidate will be <br />presented to the council for consideration for appointment. The IT Manager position will first be <br />posted internally, then externally if there are no internal candidate. Dependent upon hire of the IT <br />Manager, the IT technician position will follow suit. <br />4.Recommended Compensation: <br />Position descriptions are attached. The position descriptions were scored using the Hay Method <br />and placed into the City’s compensation table.
