Prior to attending a focus <br />group, employees may be required to complete a brief homework assignment or participate in a <br />survey based upon the items agreed to in the planning meeting discussed above. The meeting <br />will establish ground rules of forward thinking, positive contributions, and open trust of shared <br />ideas. <br /> <br />Gallagher will review the employee sentiment from the facilitated focus groups and/or surveys to <br />look for prevailing themes and areas of concern. They will then collectively present a <br />comprehensive analysis and recommendations for action and improvement to The City of Orono <br />as well as a recommended communication to employees on the findings. <br /> <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />Workplace Culture Focus group sessions will be 1 hour in duration and typically will consist of <br />somewhere between 8 – 10 individuals per session, in the groupings determined in conversations <br />with The City of Orono. The City of Orono will be responsible for all communication to and with <br />employees to gain participation in focus groups and coordinate scheduling and logistics for all <br />focus group sessions. <br /> <br />Pricing: $16,000. Travel time and travel expenses will be charged for on-site workshops. <br /> <br />71
