To: City of Orono <br /> I am Terrie Eggers and I live at 3345 Crystal Bay Road. I am writing regarding the proposed <br /> remodel at 3339 Crystal Bay Road. I support my neighbors decision to remodel their existing <br /> property rather than tear down and build a larger structure. Remodeling the existing property <br /> will cause less disruption to the neighborhood compared to a complete teardown and new <br /> construction. Remodeling will utilize much less hard cover and promote responsible land use <br /> by utilizing existing infrastructure and minimizing urban sprawl. <br /> Again, I support this remodeling project and am confident the current homeowners will be <br /> respectful of the guidelines.
