LA24-000008, GreenWood Design Build o/b/o Brenda Iversen,1850 Lakeside Trail,Variance <br /> The City Council is requested to review the Staff report,receive a presentation, and discuss and provide <br /> feedback to staff for a resolution on a requested variance for driveway width. <br /> The Council discussed the item and asked questions of staff and the applicant,Doug Cutting of <br /> GreenWood Design Build. <br /> Johnson moved,Crosby seconded,to direct staff to draft a resolution of approval for a driveway of <br /> 12 feet with 8 feet of asphalt. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> The Council also directed staff to review the existing limit for 8-foot wide driveways in that area. <br /> 16. 975 Long Bridge Lane, Outdoor Escapes and Hendell Homes o/b/o Paul and Andrea Scott <br /> Encroachment Agreements <br /> The City Council is requested to review the Staff report,receive a presentation, and discuss and provide <br /> direction concerning existing encroachments. <br /> The Council discussed the item and asked questions of staff and the applicant,Hans Frees, Outdoor <br /> Excapes. <br /> Johnson moved,Benson seconded,to direct staff to draft a resolution permitting the septic tank in <br /> the existing location and requiring removal of the encroaching portion of the retaining wall. <br /> VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> Community Development Director Oakden presented information on building permit revenue year to date <br /> and other Community Development Department activities. <br /> PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT <br /> 6. Contract for Scheduling Software—Resolution 7467 <br /> The City Council is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation, and discuss and adopt <br /> Resolution 7467 for fire department scheduling software. <br /> Walsh moved,Johnson seconded,to adopt Resolution 7467 approving the contract with Vector <br /> Solutions for scheduling software for the Orono Fire Department.
