t <br /> : <br /> �O� V� <br /> C ITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��'lq �,G' No. 644 � <br /> kESH�� <br /> WHEREAS, the draft EAW was published on the City's website, and notification <br /> was made to the City's official newspapers; and <br /> WHEREAS, agency and individual comments were received on the draft EAW <br /> during the required comment period, which officially closed on August 7, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, supplemental information in response to the received comments was <br /> prepared and provided to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has reviewed all relevant information, comments, <br /> responses, and subsequent submissions; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the results of the investigations and studies made as a part <br /> of the EAW, no potential for significant environmental impacts has been discovered; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council, in <br /> light of the above noted facts, as well as the applicant's materials, staff reports, citizen comments <br /> and submittals, and all other facts and information supplied and considered as a part of the record <br /> of this proceeding, hereby finds that the Lakeview residential project, as regulated by existing <br /> zoning, environmental, construction, and other laws and permitting requirements, holds no <br /> potential for significant environmental impacts, and further makes a `negative declaration" under <br /> applicable Minnesota Rules on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota this 22nd day of September, 2014. <br /> ATTEST: �� ��(�� �- <br /> Lili Tod McMillan, Mayor <br /> ��'�� <br /> Rachel Dodge, City Clerk <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
