Continuation of Water Quality Objectives examination for <br />implementation as addressed at the 10/13 meeting: <br />a. Managing On-site septic systems -- Orono and Woodland <br />reporting, Minnetrista to report at this time; <br />b. Trash containers at public accesses LMCD staff <br />report (attached) <br />c. Water quality goal, under rf .'iew by MCWD and part of <br />the Water Quality Monitoring program directed by Dick <br />Osgood and Carolyn Dindorf —— no action or report at <br />this time. <br />d. Independent evaluation of Eurasian water milfoil <br />harvesting program, report to be presented for <br />discussion 11/10 by Consultant Bob Pierce; <br />e. Reduce or tie up phosphorus in sediments to prevent <br />use by aquatic vegetation -- a long-term on-going <br />program to be addressed by MCWD; <br />f. Wetlands survey update for Lake Minnetonka <br />communities, per Carolyn Dindorf, Hennepin <br />Conservation District; <br />4. Public hearing report on regulating unprotected <br />polystyrene flotation material for use in docks and other <br />water structures as heard 'y the LMCD board 10/28; <br />5. MCWD Board of Managers consideration of committee request <br />for broadening the notification procedure for parties <br />affected in the MCWD permit process; <br />6. Hwy 101 Draft Environmental Impact Statement for road <br />upgrade and public access redevelopment -- Mike Panzer; <br />7. MCWD ad hoc committee formation to address use of <br />unauthorized chemical treatment of aquatic plants by lake <br />residents, progress report -- Panzer, Tom Maple; <br />8. Additional business recommended by the committee;
