o>. o CITYof ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE STUBBS BAY <br />SANITARY SEWER ASSESSMENT ROLL - <br />REDUCTION OP PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OP ASSESSMENT <br />POR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3560 BAYSIDE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, on July 27, 1992 the Orono City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 3145 to adopt the Stubbs Bay sanitary sewer assessment <br />roll; and <br />WHEREAS, Alvin and Beatrice Balgaard are owners of the <br />property legally described as that part of Lot 27, Auditor's <br />Subdivision No. 203, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northerly of a <br />line running from a point in the east line of said lot distant 292.49' <br />south from the northeast corner thereof to a point in the west line of <br />said lot distant 261' south from the northwest corner thereof; also <br />described as PINs 05-117-23 13 0017 (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the assessment roll adopted in Resolution No. 3145 <br />set the principal amount of the assessment for the property at <br />$12,990.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently reduced the principal <br />amount for the entire Bederwood sub-project area, including the <br />property, to $11,500.00; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of an easement acquisition process, the <br />City agreed to reduce the principal assessment amount for Alvin and <br />Beatrice Balgaard to $11,000.00, reflecting the $500.00 cost to <br />acquire said easement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the tubbs Bay sanitary <br />sewer assessment roll is hereby amended to rev-se the principal <br />assessment for the property to $11,000.00. <br />Page 1 of 2
