MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD OCTOBER 12, 1992 <br />CITY FACILITIES - CONT. <br />Moorse reviewed the items that have deferred to date. <br />Jabbour felt they have not budgeted enough for the demolition of <br />the existing buildings. He asked if the cost savings of not <br />purchasing the fuel tanks has been reviewed. <br />Gerhardson noted he has reviewed the issue of transport versus tank <br />wagon delivery and it was determined it would cost $.05 to .08 more <br />per gallon. <br />Butler felt It woi d be penny v/lse and pound foolish to wait on <br />somethinrthat is s involved as the installation of gas tanks. <br />It was moved by ( lahan, seconded by Butler, to authorize the <br />purchase of fuel s .irage tanks from Pump & Meter for an amount of <br />$75,354.
