r.IaD5. jJiuLitaa xiamai. Comm it t o»? H^port <br />President Spensley noted plans for a meeting to address the <br />comments received tor the District’s 509 Plan. The District <br />should also roconvono a technical advisory committee, and at some <br />point in the near future have o working session of the Board to <br />address the 509 Plan. The staff and Plans and Programs Committae <br />were authorized to pursue this process and return to the Board <br />with ongoing status reports. <br />Mr. Smith noted that in addition to the rule changes <br />concerning the District's principal place of busineas and meeting <br />place, a previoua amendment to Rule B had been authorized and <br />would also be appropriate to notice for a public hearing on <br />September 17th. The Managers directed that the change to Rule D <br />also be noticed along with the changes in the other District rules. <br />Mr. Panzer distributed the Lake Level, Flow and Precipitation <br />Report, noting that level of Lake Minnetonka was measured on <br />August 19, 1992 at 929.03, <br />Mr. Panzer also distributed a proposal for conducting the <br />District's hydrological annitoring program. The Managers noted <br />that the Menck proposal involved an annual estimated cost of <br />$21,500, assuming assistance from the District Coordinator end <br />■ample and date collection. Pollowlng discuseion, it was aoved by <br />Manager Love, seconded by Ma>\a,a*’ Lindley to accept the Me nek <br />proposal, and to direct Ms. Flai.^KraMn to send a letter to J.M. <br />Montgomery to inform them of tBia iecision and thank tnem for <br />their proposal ae well.
