LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />k <br />Data Gathering and Standards Subcommittee <br />8/31/92 <br />SUBJECT: Draft Resolution to the Lake Access Task Force <br />In light of the car/traller parking space data gathering and <br />analysis prepared by the Data Gathering and Standards <br />Subcommittees of the Lake Access Task Force for Lake <br />Minnetonka, the following supplemental recommendations are <br />offered In which the subcommittee finds and recommends: <br />a. Continuing the goal of 700 car/traller spaces and <br />the allocation of those spaces by zone <br />b. The current allocation and distribution of <br />car/traller parking spaces for the lake Is not <br />equitable. <br />Cities are urged to make a concerted effort to <br />provide their share of lake access car/traller <br />parking spaces, and further encourages coordination <br />and cooperation among cities to meet zone goals.
