Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />September 11, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: Dedication Kelley Parkway <br />%• <br />U/>. <br />V <br />Recently the City of Orono designated the name of the frontage road of <br />Highway 12 as Kelley Parkway. The frontage road will serve the new <br />City facilities and properties to the east. <br />Kelley Parkway was named to honor Les Kelley, a lifetime Orono <br />resident who served the City and the area throughout his lifetime. It <br />was determined that the City would conduct a "ribbon cutting" ceremony <br />when the road was complete. <br />The road is complete and we should pick a date for the ribbon cutting <br />ceremony.
