CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7461 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT OF RESOLUTION <br />NUMBER 7461 <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono has applied and received a grant from the Minnesota Department <br />of Traffic Safety for a Traffic Safety Vehicle. <br />NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council: <br />I.Accepts the $72,325.00 to be used toward the purchase of a Public Safety Vehicle. <br />II.Enters in a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for the <br />Traffic Safety Vehicle. <br />FURTHER, Chief Correy Farniok is hereby authorized to execute such agreements and <br />amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the ORONO POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT and to be the fiscal agent and administrator of the grant. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on April <br />8, 2024. <br />ATTEST:CITY OF ORONO <br />_____________________________________________________________________ <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />42
