He felt this was the <br />responsibility of his builder and regretted the entire matter. <br />Nenbers questicvied applicant as to the possible removal of <br />existing non*essentia1 improvements as hardcover was not .d at <br />45«6%. They asked if landscape areas underlain with plastic <br />could be removed. Staff cautioned that the landscape areas along <br />the north and south sides of the residence were needed to prevent <br />runoff from impacting lower floor of the residence. Mr. Bullock <br />advised as a result of the sediment build-up along the north side <br />of the house from the public drainageway that runs from Casco <br />Point Road to the cove or lake that the lower level of his <br />residence has been flooc«&>.'. <br />Members noted that the lakeshore protected area had no <br />hardcover. The Planning Commission recommended unanimous <br />approval of he after-the-fact variance as proposed by applicant. <br />The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the <br />findings of the Planning Commission recommendation with the <br />condition that applicant obtain a penalty buildinj permit. <br />lav <br />_iV-.
