Harris (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br />the owner of property at 3850 Watertown Road located within the City <br />of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as Lot 1, Bloclc 1, <br />Hillaway Farm, Hennepin County, Minnesota, (hereinafter "property"), <br />and <br />MHBRBAS, per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, <br />Subdivision 19, the applicant has applied to the City of Orono for a <br />Conditional Use Permit to permit the installation of a pond 100* in <br />diameter and 4' deep. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />if- <br />& <br />■t ^ ' <br />.••• <br />. ^ i <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />ir <br />If# <br />f®'!. - <br />This renewal application was reviewed as Zoning Pile #1740. <br />The property is located in the RR-IA, Rural Residential <br />Zoning District requiring 5 acres in area. The property <br />consists of lO-*- acres. <br />On June 15, 1992, the Orono Planning Commission reviewed <br />the application as proposed and recommended approval based <br />on the following findings: <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />mm <br />The City Engineer has confirmed that the installation <br />of the pond will have no negative impact upon the <br />drainage to the west nor the south. <br />The installation of the pond will have a positive <br />impact on the drainage in the area providing greater <br />retention within the limited watershed. <br />The application as proposed will require no variances <br />to the standards of Section 10.03, Subdivision 19. <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />■m.
