Banker <br />IN Bass Tournaments of MN <br />RR 2 Box 100 <br />Rockford, MN 55373 <br />Dear Mr. Banker: <br />The LMCD has approved the Special Event application <br />for the IN Bass Tournaments of MN. Bass Fishing <br />Tournament on June 28, 1992. with ease-off and weigh- <br />in at the North Shore Drive Marina on Maxwell Bay. <br />The Special Event License is granted subject to the <br />following stipulations: <br />1 .Permit requirements of the Sheriff s Water Patrol, <br />the City of Orono, Hennepin Parks and the DNR <br />Fisheries must be raet . <br />2. Use of starting guns or bull horns is not <br />permitted. <br />3. Participants must be notified that*. <br />> A • V tt *prior to launching in Lake Minnetonka, <br />watercraft that have been in waters known to be <br />infested with zebra mussel, which includes the <br />Mississippi. St. Croix, and St. Louis Rivers, <br />and St. Louis Bay of Lake Superior must have <br />been thoroughly dried or washed-down with hot <br />water at least 140 degrees, inside and out. <br />when leaving Lake Minnetonka, all lake <br />weeds must be cleaned from watercraft, <br />including wet wells and internal areas, <br />bait/tackle containers, and external areas <br />including trailers. <br />4 .Participants must be notified that they are <br />required to comply with applicable LMCD boating <br />ordinances, copy enclosed. Of particular <br />importance re regulations limiting watercraft <br />speed to 4 . and noise to 82 dbA. <br />5.All temporary signs for the event visible from the <br />lake must be removed within 24 hours after the <br />event.
