Administrative Technician: Eugene <br />Strommeni Executive Director. <br />Menbers Present: <br />Foster, Deephaven <br />Greenwood; Robert <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair Babcock at 7:35 a.m <br />1. City of Tonka Bay, 3/25/92 Public Hearing Report <br />The committee received the report of the Public Hearing held <br />on 3/25/92 to consider a new multiple dock license application <br />from the City of Tonka Bay to add 10 slide storage spaces to its <br />37 slip facility at 4001 Manitou Rd.. for rental to residents. <br />In answer to a question raised at the Public Hearing, Ihi- <br />boult reported the Tonka Bay administrator has advised that no <br />launching ramp exists at the site. The 10 slides will be rented <br />for non-restricted watercraft. For licensing purposes they are <br />counted as Boat Storage Units and Watercraft Storage Units. <br />MOTION: Slocum moved, Foster seconded, to recommend approv <br />al of a new multiple dock license for the City of Tonka Bay to <br />add 10 slides to its 37 slip facility. <br />VOTE; Motion carried unanimously. <br />2. Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc., Coffee Cove - Draft Order for Dock <br />^ The committee received the Findings and Order regarding the <br />application of Rockvim Boat Yards. Inc. for a variance from the <br />dock length requirements of the LMCD Code for permission to move <br />the 18 slip dock wing on Site 2 from its current -v- <br />tending up to 128 feet from the shoreline, to a <br />extending 153 feet from the shoreline. <br />It was noted the Order is to be corrected to <br />Boat Yards.Inc, as the applicant. <br />MOTION: Grathwol moved.
