Chandler, Sheriff’s <br />Water Patrol; Rachel Thibault, Administrative Technician; Eugene <br />Strommeny Executive Director. <br />The meeting was called to order by Cochran at 4:35 p.m. <br />The agenda was amended to consider the Stipulations <br />Special Event Applications as the first item. <br />for New <br />Foster assumed the Chair. <br />1. Special Events <br />A. Stipulations for New Special Event Applications <br />Thibault submitted stipulations for Open Water Fishing <br />Tournaments Special Event Permits. The stipulations are the same <br />as in the past with the addition of notification to the partici­ <br />pants regarding the requirements to be met for exotic control <br />before launching in Lake Minnetonka and removal of lake weeds <br />upon leaving the Lake. <br />Reese asked for a change in wording in line 5 of 3.a. to <br />read: ...Superior mu-s-t--be must have been thoroughly dried or <br />washed down with.... <br />MOTION: Cochran moved, Reese seconded, to recommend approv­ <br />al of the revised Stipulations for Open Water Fishing Tournament <br />New Special Event Applications. <br />VOTE; Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. New Applications <br />MOTION: Grathwol moved, Reese seconded, to recommend ap­ <br />proval of the following new Special Event Applications, subject <br />to the recommended stipulations: <br />1) American Jail Association, Fishing Tournament, <br />Tuesday, May 26, 1992 <br />IN Bass Tournaments of MN, Bass Tournament, <br />Sunday, June 28, 1992 <br />Minnesota Timberwolves Foundation, Jimmy Rodgers <br />Celebrity Fishing Tournament, <br />Tuesday, June 9, 1992 <br />The request of the Excelsior Chamber of Commerce, Fourth of <br />July Fireworks Display, July 4 , 1 992 , was tabled to the next <br />meeting of the committee at the request of the applicant. <br />VOTE: Motion carried unanimously. <br />2) <br />3) <br />I
