Gerhardson, Public Works DirectorAv ^ <br /><^^ ^ <br />Resolution Directing City Engineer Perform FeasiJ^i^ity <br />Study - Old Crystal Bay Road <br />April 21, 1992 <br />*’<? <br />During the past several months, the Orono Park Commission <br />and Hennepin Parks have been discussing the feasibility of a <br />Bike/Hike Trail on Old Crystal Bay Road that would connect Baker <br />Park to the Luce Line Nature Trail. <br />Hennepin P\rks has prepared a conceptual plan that was <br />reviewed by the Orono Park Commission on April 6, 1992, It is <br />the Park Commission's intent to recommend to the Orono Council to <br />proceed with construction of the trail. <br />It has been determined that this project would qualify as a <br />Municipal State Aid Project (MSA) and that Orono's share of the <br />cost would be paid for from the MSA fund. <br />The proper procedure would be for the Council to adopt a <br />resolution directing the City Engineer to perform a feasibility <br />study. <br />I have prepared a resolution for Council review and action. <br />Isv
