r <br />The Cable Commission had NOT been informed, <br />by Triax Cablevision, that any increase in <br />the monthly bill v/ould take place on <br />January 1, 1992. We found out, at precisely <br />Lhe same time as cable subscribers. <br />Even though the Cable Commission has no regulatory <br />authority over rates, as Chair of the Cable Commission <br />I deplore the method used by Triax Cablevision in <br />their attempt to deceive cable subscribers with a <br />"hidden" increase in their monthly bill and have <br />instructed our legal counsel to investigate all <br />options available to the Cable Commission regarding <br />this issue. <br />Barbara Brancel, Chair <br />Lake Minnetonka Cable Commission
