Ms. Strauss indicated that the <br />Department understood the need to finalize this matter and <br />intended to move forward expeditiously. <br />Manager Love moved that any action by the Board in regard to <br />Gayle's Marina be tabled, pending the issuance of a restoration <br />order by the Department of Natural Resources. The motion was <br />seconded by Manager Lindley. upon vote, the matter carried with <br />President Spensley voting in the negative. <br />Manager Love thanked Ms. Strauss for providing the Board with <br />an update in regard to these issues. Manager Love then moved that <br />the agenda, as amended, be suspended, and that the additional <br />reporting items of the Committee be heard as previously scheduled <br />in the agenda. The motion was seconded by Manager Lindley. Upon <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Approval of Permit Applications <br />It was moved by Manager Love, seconded by Manager Lindley, <br />that permit applications 90-120, RDP Partners; 91-01, <br />Jones-Harriaon Residence; 91-142, City of Mound; 91-143, City of <br />Mftiimi ? and 91-144. John and Karen Latterner. be approved and the <br />permits Issued, based upon recommendation of staff that the <br />applicants have met all applicable rules. Upon vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Tabling of lit Application <br />It was moved by Manager Love, seconded by Manager Lindley, <br />that permit application 91-141. Minneapolis Park and Recreation <br />Board, be tabled, based upon staff recommendation that the <br />application is not complete. Upon vote, the motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />Hearing of Permit Applications <br />91-133 Power Aasociation — Stormwater <br />ion of an existing substation and the placement_Qf <br />fill in the floodplain. <br />Staff reported that this project involves the expansion of an <br />existing electrical substation located in the City of Medina. The <br />proposal includes filling and extending an existing slope on the <br />south edge of the site, which is adjacent to a protected wetland. <br />Applicant proposes to cover the area with gravel rather than <br />pavement. Staff recommended approval, pending the r'.ceipt of five <br />iteom as set forth in its report. These items would include the <br />provisions of plans concerning water quality treatment facilities <br />conforming with District standards. It was moved by Manager Love, <br />-2-(11/21/91)
