NIHUTES OF REGULAR MEETIIIG OF <br />Hovenber 21« 1991 <br />HimiEHAHA CREEK NATERSHED DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF HAHAGERS <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Managers of the Minnehaha <br />Creek Watershed District was called to order by President Spensley <br />at 7:35 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 1991, at St. Louis Park <br />City Hall, St. Louis Park, Minnesota. <br />Managers present: Spensley, Love, Maple, Lindley, Miller, <br />Erickson and Thomas. <br />Managers absent: None. <br />Also present were Board Advisors Quanbeck and Jones. <br />A'^roval of Agenda <br />It was moved by Manager Love, seconded by Manager Lindley, <br />that the report of the violations Committee be moved before the <br />hearing of permit applications. Upon vote, the amendment was <br />adopted unanimously. It was irDved by Manager Lindley, seconded by <br />Manager Erickson, that the agenda, as amended, be adopted. Upon <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />The Managers reviewed the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />October 17, 1991. it was moved by Manager Thom&.i, seconded by <br />Manager Maple, that the minutes of the October 17, 1991, meeting <br />be approved. Upon vote, the minutes were unanimously approved. <br />Hints and Violationa Cnniittee <br />Manager Love, Chair of the violations Committee, called upon <br />the Department of Natural Resources* ("DNR”) Area Hydrologist, <br />Ceil Strauss, and asked for an update on several matters of mutual <br />concern to the DNR and the Watershed District. Ms. Strauss <br />indicated that a citation had been served on November 20, 1991, in <br />regard to the unauthorized dredging which occurred on the property <br />of Ms. Sandra Vrooroan on Gleason Lake. <br />Ms. Strauss further indicated that the DNR would be issuing a <br />restoration order concerning the Easter Sunday, 1990 dredging at <br />Gayle's Marina. Ms. Strauss indicated that the restoration order <br />should be finalized by the end of November. Manager Love noted <br />that this matter has been pending for many months and urged the <br />DNR to finalize and serve the restoration order by December 1, <br />SImitM -1-(11/21/SI'
