LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />Regular Meeting <br />7:30 p.m., Wednesday,December 4, 1991 <br />Tonka Bay City Hall <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chair Cochran <br />Oath of Office: Charles LeFevere administered the Oath of Office <br />to Tom Penn I Tonka Bay representative on the Board of Directors. <br />Penn was seated as a Board member. <br />Boll Call <br />Members Present: Bert Fosteri Deephaveni David Cochran, Chair, <br />Greanwoodt Robert Pillsbury, Minnetonka: Jan Boswinkel, <br />Treasurer, Minnetonka Beach: Thomas Reese, Vice Chair, Mound: <br />JoEllen Hurr, Orono: Robert Rascop, Shorewood; Douglas Babcock, <br />Secretary, Spring Park; Tom Penn, Tonka Bay; George Owen, <br />Victoria: Duane Markus, Wayzata. Also present: Charles <br />LeFevere, Counsel; Sgt. William Chandler, Sheriff's Water Patrol; <br />Rachel Thibault, Administrative Technician; Eugene Strommen, <br />Executive Director. <br />IjtX: <br />Pr <br />1-^''a: <br />Ifombers Absent: James Grathwol. Excelsior; Scott Carlson, <br />Minnetrista; Robert Slocum, Woodland <br />Reading of Minutes: Boswinkel moved, Babcock seconded, to <br />approve the minutes of the 10/23/91 Board meeting as submitted. <br />Motion carried, Rascop abstaining because he was not present at <br />the meeting. <br />Public Comments: Leo Meloche, Minnesota Transportation Museum, <br />was present, at the invitation of a Board member, to address the <br />restoration of the street car boat, Minnehaha. His presentation <br />was deferred to later in the meeting. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. WATER STRUCTURES, Vice Chair Babcock for Chair Grathwol <br />A. Approval of Minutes. Foster moved. Boswinkel seconded, <br />approval of the Water Structures and Environment Committee <br />minutes of 11/16/91 as submitted. Motion carried. <br />B. Excelsior Bay Yacht Club, now doing business as <br />Excelsior Park Tavern, Special Density, Variance and Now Dock <br />License Applications. <br />Babcock announced discussion will be deferred to the 1/22/92 <br />Board meeting at the request of the applicant. <br />|r <br />i::.m-
