The streets will be posted <br />fron March 15 through May 15, 1992. <br />The normal length of time that restrictions are in effect is <br />related to weather conditions. Certain streets might be closed <br />to school buses if a street becomes impassible. <br />In the past several years, we have allowed solid waste <br />haulers to continue their normal operations, limiting them to <br />gross weight on any single axle of seven tons or 14,000 pounds. <br />If a street shows signs of severe breakup we will limit the solid <br />vaste haulers to smaller vehicles. <br />I have drafted a resolution for the 1992 weight limits for <br />Council approval. <br />Xo: Mayor Peterson & Orono Council Members <br />Frooi: Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />Forwarded recommending approval. <br />/A <br />PROPOSED MOTIOH: Moved by _ _, seconded by _ _, that Council <br />adopt Resolution #_ _ _ _ establishing the 1992 Weight Limits for <br />City streets from March 15 through May 15, 1992.
