MINUTES OP THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD JANUARY 13, 1992 <br />PILE #1702 - CONT. <br />crafts. The City Attorney has deemed that the residential use <br />cannot be continued as the property has not been used for <br />residential use for a lono time, and the applicant would have to <br />come in with a commercial site plan review in order to use the <br />property as such. <br />Habusth confirmed that applicant will submit a commercial site <br />plan for review at the Planning Commission's February meeting. <br />Jabbour suggested that staff inform applicant of the DNR's <br />current proposal for the area. <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Butler, to refer Application <br />•1701 for Phyllis B. Sprague of 3340 North Shore Drive to the <br />Planning comioiss^o*^ for a commercial site plan review. Ayes 4, <br />nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUKCIL REPORT <br />A. Mayor Peterson noted that the Highway 12 draft scoping <br />document is to be delivered on Wednesday, January 15, 1992. <br />B. Mayor Peterson reminded the Council of the Facilities Design <br />Committee meeting on Tuesday, January 14, 1992. <br />C. Oerhardson explained they now have a contract with the <br />excavator for the new facilities. <br />D. Butler advised that she could not be the Council <br />representative to the March Planning Commission meeting. <br />(•10) 1992 APPOINTMENTS - RESOLUTION #3062 <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3062 designating the annual appointments for 1992, <br />and appointing J. Diann Goetten as acting mayor. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />Jabbour acknowledged that Callahan did a great job as acting <br />mayor in the past. <br />Mayor Peterson concurred with Jabbour.
