TONNAGE <br />This is combined tonnage or cubic yards estimated total for all 7 <br />cities. Loretto and Maple Plain have reported yardwaste in tons. <br />The other cities have reported in cubic yards. <br />Loretto “ 12 tons <br />Greenfield - 102 cu. yds. <br />Long Lake - 286 cu. yds. <br />Orono - 343 cu. yds. <br />Maple Plain - 61 tons <br />Independence - 64 cu. yds.* <br />Medina - 225 cu. yds. <br />* independence is considering using Orono yardwaste days for its <br />residents. A decision has not yet been finalized. <br />Part IT. COLLECTION <br />A. Curbside <br />Three of the 7 cities offer curbside collection for residents. <br />Long Lake - Provides two a year. One in spring & one in fall. <br />Loretto - Provides two collection days a year. <br />Maple Plain - Collected on a separate weekly route. <br />B. Drop-Off <br />All 7 cities (save possibly Independence) provide drop-off days for <br />residents. See program descriptions. <br />Part TTI. <br />All 7 cities compost leaves and grass and make available for <br />residents use. <br />Part IV <br />Greenfield - $934 <br />Long Lake - $10,697 <br />Maple Plain - $2,580 <br />Orono - $6,350 <br />Independence - $50 <br />Loretto - $375 <br />Medina - $1,550 <br />-OVER-
