-2-10 B <br />K.procedures for obtaining written parental permission before each <br />occasion of research, experimental procedure, or public relations <br />activity involving a child; <br />L. <br />M. <br />N. <br />O. <br />center's policies on the provision of oeals and snacks; <br />center's behavior guidance policies and procedures; <br />presence of pets; <br />center's .policy that parents of enrolled children may visit the <br />center any time during the hours of operation; and <br />P.telephone number of the Department of Human Services, Division of <br />Licensing. <br />950?.0110 EMERGENCY AND ACCIDENT POLICIES AND RECORDS. <br />Subpart 1. Policies and records. The applicant must develop written <br />policies governing emergencies, accidents, and injuries. The license holder <br />must ensure that written records are kept about Incidents, emergencies, <br />accidents, and injuries that have occurred. <br />Subpart 2. Instruction record. The license holder must keep a record <br />of instruction to all staff persons and, when appropriate, to children and <br />parents, about how to carry out the policies. <br />Subpart 3. Policy content. The policies must contain: <br />A. <br />B. <br />Procedures for administering first aid. <br />Safety rules to follow in avoiding injuries, bums, poisoning, <br />choking, suffocation, and traffic and pedestrian accidents. <br />C. <br />D. <br />Procedures for the daily inspection of potential hazards. <br />Procedures for fire prevention and procedures to follow in the <br />event of a fire. Fire procedures must: <br />(1) <br /><2) <br />(3) <br />(4) <br />mandate monthly fire drills and a log of drill times and <br />dates; <br />identify primary and secondary exits, building evacuation <br />routes, the phone number of the fire department, persons <br />responsible for the evacuation of children, and areas for <br />which they are responsible; <br />contain instruction on how to use a fire extinguisher and <br />how to close off the fire area; and <br />pro’^ide for the training of staff persons to carry out the <br />fire procedure. <br />r, ,
