All vehicles parked or stored on anv propertv within the Citv <br /> shall be onerable and currentiv licensed. The parkin� of vehicles, other than recreational <br /> vehicles in"R" districts is regulated as follows: <br /> � Parkin� of vehicles other than recreational vehicles, with a maximum <br /> Gross Vehicle Wei�ht (GVW) of 14,000 pounds or less is allowed in all <br /> "R"districts. <br /> � Parkin� of vehicles in "R" districts in excess of 14,000 lbs GVW requires <br /> each of the followin�conditions be met: <br /> a. Minimum lot size of 5 acres, <br /> b. Propertv owner must be vehicle owner or operator, <br /> c. Vehicle must be set back 50 feet from propertv lines, <br /> d. Must not be visible from nei�hborin� properties and public streets; <br /> ve�etative screenin�preferred, <br /> e. Maintenance of said vehicle shall occur within an enclosed <br /> buildin�, <br /> f. The vehicle shall not constitute a nuisance at anv time, and, <br /> g_ In a shared drivewav situation, the Citv must have on file an <br /> a�reement signed bv all current drivewav users. <br /> (d.) Boats, unoccupied boat trailers, and boats on trailers shall be subject to the <br /> following storage requirements when not stored for commercial purposes: <br /> (1) Licensing, operability and restorations. All boats stored outside on a <br /> residential property shall be licensed to the owner or occupant of the <br /> property. All boats stored on a property shall be in operable condition, <br /> except that inoperable boats under active restoration may be stored on a <br /> property for not more than two years, the intent being to discourage the <br /> longterm storage of inoperable boats on residential property. <br /> (2) Principal residence required.
