Applicant has applied for a second extension of preliminary .subdivision approval as the Highway 12 matter has yet to be resolved. List of Exhibits A - Applicant’s Request Letter B - Resolution #3094 - Approval of One Year Extension of Preliminary Subdivision Approval (4/8/93) C - Section 11.10, Subd. 15 D - Resolution #2948 - Preliminary Subdivision Resolution for 12-lot Preliminary Plat, Crystal Crest E - Highway 12 Southern By-pass Routes that Impact the Subject Property F - Crystal Crest Plat Discussion The 12-lot plat of Crystal Crest received preliminary approval fiom the City of Orono on 4/8/91. In March of ’92 it became apparent to applicant that the southern Highway 12 by pass route would have major impact on the proposed subdivision and requested a year extension until final Uxation of expanded Highway 12 corridor was resolved. Refer to Exhibit A. applicant now seeks a second extension as final resolve of the location of the Highway 12 expanded corridor has been tentatively postponed now until the later part of 1994. Options of Action To approve developer’s request for a second extension of preliminary subdivision approval now extending preliminary subdivision to 4/8/94. Approval can be based on the findings set forth in the enclosed resolution; or Denial directing applicant to eitlier file a preliminary subdivision application upon final resolve of Highway 12 expansion or to file final plat and required documents prior to April 8th deadline. ch
