Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />INTERFAITH OUTREACH <br />& COMMUNITY PARTNERS <br />“People Uniting to Help People" <br />Dear Johns <br />Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners is negotiating <br />with Methodist Hospital toward the goal of preserving and <br />relocating three of the Arleigh Street homes being displaced <br />by the expansion of Methodist's V/ayzata facility. The <br />proposed re-use of these homes is for horaebuyership for low- <br />income families of our community. <br />V/e have secured a grant from the Minnesota Housing Finance <br />Agency to hire a project developer/raanager for this project <br />contingent upon our ability to find matching funds. <br />The findings of the preliminary feasibility study for this <br />project are very promising. A matching grant of 52,O0O from <br />the City of Orono would provide a very timely boost toward <br />the goal of getting a project developer/manager on board. <br />We would very much appreciate your kind consideration of this <br />request.
