RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCR. <br />NO._______ <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING <br />THE NE\\ CITY FACILITIES TO BE <br />SMOKE FREE BUILDINGS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal organizatior. existing under the <br />laws of Minnesota, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to provide City officials, employees, and <br />the general public with a work and meeting environment that is smoke free. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has constructed the following new buildings: <br />Orono Public Works, 2700 Kelley Parkway <br />Police Department, 2730 Kelley Parkway <br />Village Hall, 2750 Kelley Parkway <br />Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Orono City Council has <br />designated all of the above named buildings to be smoke free buildings with the exception <br />of a designated area in the police department for the sole use of individuals while being <br />detained for a criminal investigation. <br />Adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting on February 8, 1993. <br />Edward J.
