DEADLINE FOR ADV7WCB REGISTRATION ^ <br />FEBRUARY 12. IT IS IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT REGISTRATIONS IMMEDIATELY IN <br />ORDER TO OBTAIN YOUR CHOICE OP HOTEL ACCC^IMODATIONS. <br />LMC Delegation Activities <br />BRIEFING: Preparation for Capitol Hill meetings <br />The League will hold a briefing on Monday, March 8, for all city <br />officials attending the conference to prepare for meetings on Capitol <br />Hill with members of the Minnesota Congressional Delegation. <br />MEETINGS with Minnesota Congressional Delegation <br />Appointments for meetings with House and Senate members of the <br />congressional delegation will be scheduled on Capitol Hill on <br />Tuesday, March 9, beginning as early as 8:30 a.m., and continuing <br />throughout the day until as late as 4:00 p.m. These meetings <br />represent the major focus of activity for city officials attending <br />the conference. Please take note of this activity in planning your <br />travel schedule. <br />RECEPTION on Capitol Hill <br />The League will also sponsor a reception for city officios and <br />members of the Minnesota Congressional Delegation on Capitol Hill on <br />Monday evening, March 8, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. There will ^ a <br />charge for attending the reception to cover the cost of catering. <br />Travel arrangements: information/assistance <br />Information on airfares and travel agency assistance in planning <br />your trip to Washington, D.C. will be available soon. The League <br />will identify an agency and available discount fares for those <br />attending the conference as a service to cities.
