The City will henceforth submit an annual progress <br />report to the MWCC, indicating ongoing activity by the City <br />in reducing I/If and including a review of problems <br />encountered and actions taken to resolve them. <br />K. Ordinances# Controls# Administration and Enforcement <br />The City of Orono began regulating on-site sewage treatment <br />systems in 1961. Municipal sewer connections have been regulated <br />since 1964# the year that the first municipal sewers were <br />available. A number of ordinances applicable to sewage treatment <br />in the City are listed in the 1980 Comprehensive Plan. The <br />following ordinances adopted since 1980 apply to sewage treatment <br />in the City: <br />Ordinance #246 - December 30# 1982 <br />REGULATING SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS ON <br />LAKE MINNETONKA ISLANDS, including <br />minimum requirements for seasonal <br />residential properties. <br />Ordinance #34# 2nd Series - April 27# 1987 <br />ESTABLISHING SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION <br />CHARGES for properties connecting to <br />municipal sewer but not previously <br />assessed. <br />Ordinance #100, 2nd Series - February 10, 1992 <br />RELATING TO ON-SITE SEWAGE TREATMENT <br />SYSTEMS, this ordinance adopts MPCA <br />Chapter 7080 standards and is a <br />comprehensive update amendment of <br />Ordinance #210 adopted in 1978. <br />19-B
