Next, <br />numbers from this sheet are plotted onto a <br />graph Then, The Brimeycr Croup puts the <br />numbers into a unicn- computer program and <br />a written rep<irt is g' rated. The report on <br />individuals is very sp>ecific and covers the <br />following areas <br />• Internal Motivation <br />• Self-management Strategies <br />• Identification and Management of Conflict <br />In order to provide the DISC System, <br />Brimeyer recently completed qualification <br />training on the Performa* Systems Interna­ <br />tional through Carlson Learning Company. <br />The system can be used to evaluate candidates <br />in the recruitment process, as a device for <br />setting up a team-building exercise, and for <br />Individual growth and development. "This helps me determine what <br />new services should be offered to public <br />sector managers and how we might improve <br />our existing services," he said. The new <br />members are: <br />• Vejay 5k-thi—County Coordinator, Clay <br />County, and President of the Minnesota <br />County Administrators Association <br />• Jeff Weldon—President of the Metropoli­ <br />tan Association of Urban Management <br />Assistants, and Assistant to the City <br />Administiator in Apple Valley <br />• Virginia E.dahl—Deputy County <br />Administrator of Washington County <br />A variety of criteria is used when selecting <br />people to serve on the Advisory Bc;jard: <br />Leadership positions in professional organi­ <br />zations, representation from the Metro area <br />and Greater Minnesota, and representation <br />from both small and large organizations. <br />Established early in 1992, the PSMAB meets <br />quarterly. According to Brimeyer, 1993 <br />meeting dates have been set for February 19, <br />May 21.
