At tne August
meeting the applicant was asked to reduce hardcover as liardcover was excessive on the
property. Alter reviewing the updated survey and the amended proposal, members felt the
applicant had not tried his best to reduce hardcover. Review Exhibit E, outside of the plastic
underliner beneath landscape areas, applicant proposed the removal of some 96 s.f. of pavement
and planter box. No other improvements were considered for removal.
The major objection with the amended proposal was the tact that the entire new structural
improvement was located within the 0-75' setback area. Members asked if the garage stall
addition could be installed to the west side of the garage. Applicant’s contractor advised that
this would have a major and negative impact on the entrance to the principal struemre.
Members questioned whether existing paving improvements could be removed at least
to the north side of the residence. Applicant’s contractor advised that the concrete paving along
the north side of the residence was needed to redirect drainage to drainage way between lot liiws
and also protect the foundation of house.
