Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />DATE:November 8, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: #1850 James Spinner. 94C North Arm Drive - Variances - Referred Back to <br />Planning Commission for Additional Review <br />List of Exhibits <br />A - Revised Site Plan <br />B - Staff Memo <br />C - Council Minutes 10/25/93 <br />Brief Review of Amended Proposal <br />At the October 25. 1993 meeting of the Council, applicant’s representative, Mr. Herstein. <br />presented an amended proposal that would reduce hardcover within the 0-75’ setback zone with <br />the removal of an additional 250 s.f. of paved area. Hardcover witliin the 0-75’ setback zone <br />is reviewed as follows: <br />0-75’ setback area = 10.822 s.t. <br />Existing hardcover = 2,697 s.f. or 24.92% <br />Prop<^sed hardcover (original application) = 1.931 s.f. or 17.8% (addition <br />of 209 s.f. of new structural hardcover and removal ol 766 s.f. of <br />nonstrucmral hardcover) <br />Proposed hardcover (amended application) = 1,681 s.t. or 15.5% (addition <br />of 209 s.f. of new structural hardcover placed over existing nonstructural <br />hardcover and removal of 1,016 s.f. of ncnsiructural hardcover) <br />All variances noted in the staff memc^ of October 7th remain the same. <br />Is-sues for Consideration <br />1.Has the removal of 250 s.f. of nonstrucmral hardcover within the 0-75’ area <br />altered your original recommendation? <br />Applicant should be asked if additional removals can be made. . . maybe another <br />attempt to see if addition could be rekKated out ot 0-75 setback area. <br />Options of Action <br />Approval of an amended application; or <br />Denial of amended application as proposed. <br />ch
