/5 .
TO:
FROM:
DATF:
NIavor and Cilv Council
Ron Mi'orse, Citv Administrator
December 10. 1993
SUBJECT: Tax fn^rfeit Property Acquisition
%A
%
%
%
.Attached is a memo from John Gerhardson outlining the details of the City’s potential acquisition
of a 10 acre parcel of land that was a lax forfeiture and could be available to be released for
public use.
USE OF PROPFHTY FOR PARK LAND
Although the City could obtain this property' for use as park land at no cost, the trade off is that
the property could not be u.sed for residential development as it is currently planned. It may cost several hundred dollars to obtain this
information.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED
Motion to authorize staff to obtain advice from a park/land use planning consultant regarding
the use of the property for park land with the cost not to exceed $500.00,
